Dr Nina Tran was employed as a school dental therapist for many years in Adelaide where she gained invaluable experience in the field of pediatric dentistry and looking after the dental health of adolescents. In 1999 Dr Tran began university training in a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and graduated in 2003. While at university she was renowned for her academic excellence, having received the prestigious Sir Joseth Verco Memorial Prize for high achievement in general dental practice and the ANZ Society of Paediatric Dentistry Prize.

Dr Tran commenced dental practice working for various public sector and private practices gaining experience before joining the McCullough Dental Centre in 2009. To further her education and expertise Dr Tran regularly attends educational events. She enjoys treating people of all ages, aiming to make their dental experiences as comfortable as possible. Her goal is to deliver high quality dentistry using a gentle, preventive and conservative approach.

In her spare time Dr Tran enjoys spending time with her family and attends Pilates and yoga classes.
Dr Burhaan Kassim completed a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) degree at the University of Queensland in 1998, and upon graduating travelled north to look after the dental health of residents in the Bundaberg region. Dr Kassim then relocated to England for several years to further his clinical experience.
On returning to Australia, Dr Kassim held various locum posts in Toowoomba, Tugun and Alexandra Hills before joining the McCullough Dental Centre where he has been a partner since 2004. In 2010 he commenced his Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Implant Dentistry and is one of the first in Australia to have graduated with Masters level qualifications specific to implant dentistry. He has subsequently developed a dedicated implant treatment facility within the McCullough Dental Centre to apply his specialised skills.

To further his understanding and to keep up-to date with the latest in dentistry, Dr Kassim attends numerous continuing education courses in emerging technologies and advances in dentistry. Ultimately Dr Kassim’s main goal is to look after the health of his patients by delivering a high standard of care in a comfortable way. His patients’ best interests are always his first and foremost priority and this is reflected in the many positive comments that he receives.

Dr Kassim likes to spend most of his free time with his young family. He also enjoys being physically active and enjoying the sunny outdoors.

Dr Russell M. Kiemann studied a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland. After his graduation in 1981, Dr Kiemann worked for 12 months in a private dental practice in Biloela in rural Queensland. In 1983, Dr Kiemann joined the practice in Sunnybank Plaza before its relocation to the McCullough Dental Centre in 1989.

Dr Kiemann takes a conservative approach to all dental treatments, ensuring you receive optimum dental care to maintain your teeth for life. He believes you treat your patients the way you would like to be treated yourself.

While Dr Kiemann is not at the McCullough Dental Centre he enjoys being with his family and looks forward to their beach retreats.
Dr Manian Muthaiya completed a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1998 and then specialized in the field of Prosthodontics in 2002 from the well renowned Government Dental College in Chennai, India. Dr Muthaiya later worked in a University environment serving both academic and clinical roles. He particularly enjoyed mentoring and training new dental graduates. Simultaneous to his academic role, he built his dental surgery and ran it successfully for 8 years.
In 2011, Dr Muthaiya commenced his Australian dental practice in Gladstone, Queensland and then worked in Berri, South Australia. During this time Dr Muthaiya had a wish to buy his own surgery and bought a surgery in Ayr, Queensland in 2012. Dr Muthaiya was well received and respected for his skills and attitude. He ran the Brice Dental surgery successfully for 5 years and had a flourishing career in North Queensland. In 2017 Dr Muthaiya relocated to Brisbane for his son’s education and has been working in the southern suburbs ever since.
Dr Muthaiya is a member of Australian Dental Association and attends continuing professional development courses regularly to keep in touch with the latest technology and his aim is to provide a friendly and personalized service to all his patients. Dr Muthaiya has a special interest in dentures, crown and bridge work, full mouth rehabilitation and the endodontics
